Non-surgical spinal decompression

A Proven Path to Pain Relief — Without Surgery

Spinal decompression therapy is an FDA-cleared, non-invasive treatment that gently relieves pressure on compressed discs and nerves — addressing the root cause of your pain, not just the symptoms.

How it works

The Science Behind the Relief

Spinal decompression uses a specialized motorized table to gently and precisely stretch the spine. This controlled traction creates a negative pressure — or vacuum effect — inside the disc.

01

Gentle Traction

You lie comfortably on the decompression table, fully clothed. A harness is fitted around your pelvis and torso. The table slowly and gently stretches your spine in a controlled, computer-guided motion.

02

Negative Pressure Created

The stretching creates a negative intradiscal pressure — a vacuum effect inside the disc. This draws herniated or bulging disc material back toward the center, away from the nerves it was pressing on.

03

Nutrients Flow In

The negative pressure also promotes the flow of water, oxygen, and nutrients back into the disc — supporting the disc's natural healing process and restoring disc height over time.

04

Nerve Pressure Relieved

As the disc material retracts and pressure on the surrounding nerves is reduced, pain, numbness, and tingling begin to diminish — often within the first few sessions.

Conditions we treat

Is Decompression Right for You?

Spinal decompression is effective for a wide range of spinal conditions. If you've been told surgery is your only option, it may be worth exploring this non-surgical alternative first.

Herniated Discs

When disc material pushes out and presses on nearby nerves, causing sharp, radiating pain. Decompression gently draws the disc back into place.

Bulging Discs

A disc that has expanded beyond its normal boundary, creating pressure on surrounding structures. Decompression reduces the bulge and relieves nerve irritation.

Sciatica

Burning or shooting pain down the leg caused by compression of the sciatic nerve. We target the lumbar source — not just the leg symptoms.

Degenerative Disc Disease

As discs wear down over time, pain and stiffness become constant. Decompression helps restore disc height and promotes rehydration of the disc.

Spinal Stenosis

Narrowing of the spinal canal creates pressure on nerves. Decompression opens space and reduces that pressure naturally, without surgery.

Neck Pain & Cervical Issues

Compressed cervical discs cause chronic neck pain, stiffness, and headaches. We treat the cervical spine with the same gentle, precise approach.

Facet Syndrome

Degeneration or injury to the facet joints causes localized back pain and stiffness. Decompression reduces joint loading and promotes healing.

Failed Back Surgery

If a prior surgery didn't bring the relief you hoped for, decompression therapy may still help. Many post-surgical patients find significant improvement.

What to expect

Your Treatment Journey

1

Free Consultation

We start with a thorough review of your condition, medical history, and imaging. We'll tell you honestly whether decompression is right for you — and what results you can realistically expect.

2

Personalized Treatment Plan

Every patient is different. We design a treatment plan tailored to your specific diagnosis, severity, and goals — typically 15–30 sessions over 4–8 weeks.

3

Comfortable Sessions

Each session lasts about 30–45 minutes. Most patients find the treatment relaxing. You remain fully clothed, and the table's movements are gentle and computer-controlled.

4

Progressive Relief

Many patients notice improvement within the first few sessions. Relief typically builds progressively as the disc heals and nerve pressure decreases.

5

Long-Term Results

Unlike pain medication that masks symptoms, decompression addresses the structural cause of your pain. Most patients maintain their results long after treatment ends.
